privacy will gradually become a thing of the past as convenience becomes overbearingly available...

on the bright side, as we see throughout history, there's always a counter-culture

as young progressive minds take the reins, there will be magnificent strides in the continuing fight for privacy, accessibility, and equality

So as our lives and language sync with the cloud, and as capitalism continues on its quest for personal data in exchange for convenience, many of us will be pushing back. Web designers will build alternative sites and methods that allow privacy. The current strive for accessibility will lead to further improvements and the inclusion of those who have been excluded. Systemic racism in algorithms will be searched for and struck down by activists, whether they be designers, politicians, or everyday internet users.

we can only hope that this push and pull will save the internet from becoming some kind of dystopian nightmare.
